Wanna Host a Visiting Filmmaker?

Wanna Host a Visiting Filmmaker?

DC Shorts prides ourselves on the number of filmmakers that we have attend the Festival, and we again hope to have as many participating filmmakers as possible attend. We know it’s expensive for many of these filmmakers to travel to DC, so we always try to offer free housing for them for the opening weekend.

For the last 8 years, local residents have graciously opened their homes to filmmakers from as close as NYC and as far as Sydney. In order for the Film Festival to run successfully, we ask that you join these amazing hosts and house a filmmaker (or 2 or 3) from Thursday, September 6 through Sunday, September 9.

In exchange for your generosity, we will gladly provide four (4) tickets (use any way you want — 4 to one show, 2 to 2 shows, etc.) two (2) tickets to any party, two (2) tickets to one “Best of” Show, plus an online pass to the DC Shorts Online Film Festival — where over 100 films can be watched at your convenience.

If you think you would be able to help us out, please complete the housing volunteer form at: http://bit.ly/dcs12housing
